Joel and Tom Hallett started Hallett Farms over 30 years ago with a strawberry and raspberry farm in Otis Orchards, WA. Since fruit was strictly a seasonal item, the brothers decided to start making candies to support their families year-round. The first candy they developed was a soft peanut brittle known as Peanut Butter Crunch. Joel took over the candy business and went on to create over 120 different chocolates and candies. When we, the Kane family, purchased the company in 2004, Joel and his wife, Jennifer, offered to come out of retirement to teach us how to continue to produce the same high quality candies. Over 7 years later, we have proven to be quite the chocolatiers and have gone on to not only follow in Joel's footsteps, but also to develop our own delectable confections such as our popular Grey Sea Salt Caramels and our Habanero Caramels, to name but a few. We wish to thank Cy (Joel) and Jennifer for their continued support - it wouldn't have been the same without you!
In November of 2008, we opened a second location that included a coffee house. We put the same pride into making our drinks that we do our chocolates. We even went so far as to create our own chocolate sauces for your drinks - you may choose from milk chocolate, semi-sweet, or bittersweet. Come visit us today at either our factory store or coffee house. We look foward to meeting you!
